About the Position

The Support Coordinator plays an integral role for NDIS participants in interpreting their NDIS plan, assisting them to establish the supports in their plan and developing their capacity over time to coordinate and manage their own supports. As a Support Coordinator you will assist NDIS participants to access service providers of their choice and coordinate their informal and mainstream supports. Coordination and support will vary within the role from more basic level coordination to more specialised support coordination for people with specific higher level needs.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a strong understanding of the NDIS and the role of an NDIS Support Coordinator, broad knowledge of the range of services available to people with a disability and demonstrated experience in interpreting and implementing individual plans.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
