About the Position

Based in Ludmilla, the Family Support worker will work with individuals and families to facilitate their participation in society at the greatest level to which they aspire and are capable of achieving; assist clients to identify individual and family goals and seek to achieve enhancement of life skills and family and community relationships; and assist individuals and families to gain access to community services and entitlements.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant qualification in human services/social sciences and demonstrated working experience. Knowledge of family support practices and therapeutic processes. Sound communication skills and demonstrated organisation and time management skills.

You will uphold the values of Anglicare NT and provide quality services within the scope of the position and associated delegations.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
