About the Position

Come Work with Us! We have an exciting opportunity to strengthen and resource our Aged Care and Disability services. Your extensive experience and specialist knowledge will provide values-based practice, policy and systems leadership. You will use collaborative approaches to support growth, workforce development and improvement initiatives.

Do you have a flair for identifying operational and administrative efficiencies? Do the words accreditation, continuous improvement and data integrity excite you? Do you have a heart for consumers, participants and carers and ensuring they are respected, heard and have choice?

You will resource organisation wide continuous improvement efforts, accreditation and registration processes and projects associated with our Aged and Disability program streams. Using collaborative approaches operational efficiencies, growth targets and improved systems integration will be achieved. Your practice leadership will embed contemporary approaches, build capacity, support workforce development and strengthen the voice of consumers / participants and carers.

Position Specific Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Community Services, Health Sciences, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
  • Extensive direct service delivery experience in the Aged Care and/or Disability sectors (preferably both).
  • Proven staff supervision and operational leadership skills with the ability to support & mentor individuals and teams.
  • Specialist knowledge base derived from extensive practice experience including the application of the Aged Care Quality Standards and NDIS Practice Standards and implementation of program reforms.
  • Advanced written communication skills, with demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and reviewing operational procedures, systems and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability capacity to negotiate effectively with a range of stakeholders and an aptitude for facilitating collaborative solution focused approaches.
