About the Position

Based in Ludmilla, as Counsellor you will deliver services which include individual, couple and family counselling, facilitating group work, community awareness and service promotion activities. You will also provide information and supported referrals to people and families where appropriate.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification social science disciplines such as Psychology, Social Work or Counselling resulting in eligibility for membership/credentialing with relevant professional/registration body. Maintain registration with professional associations such as APHRA. Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation such as family law child protection and domestic violence.

You will uphold the values of Anglicare NT and provide quality services within the scope of the position and associated delegations.

Please note: It is a requirement that prior to commencing in this role, you must possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a current Northern Territory manual driver’s licence.
