The Position:

Anglicare Victoria is currently seeking to appoint an experienced, innovative, senior leader to expand upon wide ranging, human service delivery programs in the Gippsland Region. The Regional Director is responsible for the formulation and delivery of business plans in line with strategic operational goals specific to the social challenges faced by clients within the geographic area they serve.

The position oversees accountability for a broad range of Statutory Out of Home Care, Family and Community Service program areas, and ensures significant improvements to the life experience of clients. As a member of the Senior Management Team, the incumbent will actively contribute to strategic planning, leading key initiatives, communicating shared learnings and promoting best practice in delivering great outcomes with respect to clients, employees and stakeholders.

About You:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or equivalent are mandatory.  Post graduate qualifications in Business Management will be highly regarded.
  • Proven experience leading growth and change in complex environments.
  • A track record of delivering against robust quality frameworks, fostering innovation and new initiatives, whilst successfully managing operational risk associated with human service delivery will be a key determinant of this role.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high performing teams and driving a culture that recognises and supports employees as our greatest asset.
  • There will be a requirement for stakeholder relationship management skills to ensure success in this position and positively influence the sector for better outcomes.
