The Role:

The Organisational Development & Learning (ODL) Business Partner works across the organisation on a range of Organisational Development and Learning projects, programs, policies and practices.  The role will be responsible for supporting the Strategic Agenda through building and implementing ODL solutions in line with business needs to assist with improving workforce capability and engagement. This role will report to the Manager of Organisational Development and Learning.

Your role:

Areas of focus will include, but not be limited to:

  • Support the development of organisational capability through the design, implementation and continuous improvement of initiatives  and learning opportunities, with a focus on Leadership Development.
  • Partnering with stakeholders and SME’s across the organisation to identify, prioritise, develop and operationalise learning and organisational development initiatives.
  • Leading the execution and operation of key strategic OD&L initiatives.
  • Engage, advise, coach and partner with the organisation and individuals to generate positive outcomes.
  • Monitor, report and measure the engagement and effectiveness of learning initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively to support team effectiveness through consultation and facilitation of leadership and team building activities.

About you:

We are looking for those who share our passion for supporting Children, Young People and Families, combined with:

  • Significant experience in an organisational development and/or learning business partnering role in a medium to large organisation
  • Demonstrated experience with project development / program management of Learning and Organisational Development initiatives
  • Experience in leadership learning & development, with the ability to develop and implement a leadership strategy
  • Knowledge of adult learning practice and methods
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to develop positive and influential relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in the design and development of training through multiple channels (face to face, workshop, virtual and online learning)
  • Proven ability to coach, develop and share knowledge with others
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a team, whilst able to work autonomously as required

  • Salary is $110,000 total remuneration package plus access to salary packaging to increase your take home pay
