We offer a comprehensive network of services and seek to ensure the provision of high quality services that will bring about significant improvements in the life experience of the young people, children and families/caregivers with whom we work.
The Live-In Mentor’s role is to live at the designated property with a young person aged 16-18 and provide direction, encouragement and support within the household. Live-In Mentors are required to act as positive role models and assist the young people in the house to develop independent living skills. They are expected to demonstrate a positive and balanced lifestyle and be engaged in some form of employment, study or training. They are also required to participate equally in domestic chores and duties and to ensure that any conflicts arising within the household are dealt with in a positive and productive manner.
Live-In Mentors are not paid workers but volunteers and we currently have opportunities in Bendigo.
