The Position

This position is part of the established People and Culture team composed of over 20 professionals providing support across the areas of Payroll, General HR, Recruitment, Health Safety and Wellbeing as well as Systems and Compliance.

This role will support the Bendigo region by partnering with key stakeholders to provide generalist HR support and guidance across all areas of the business, from residential care to executive management.

This is a 3 day per week role based out of large and established offices in the Bendigo CBD.

About you

We are looking for those who share our passion for supporting Children, Young People and Families, combined with:

  • Past success as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner in a services based organisation
  • An appropriate HR Qualification and/or HR Certification with AHRI (or with a commitment to undertake in the next 12 months).
  • Demonstrated experience across the full life-cycle of employment including award interpretation, employee relations, diversity and performance management.
  • The ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
  • High level proficiency in a range of computer-based applications including Microsoft Office programs Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop and share knowledge with others.
  • The ability to work autonomously, independently and efficiently under pressure.
