Our Case Managers work closely with foster carers and the young people they care of, to ensure a stable and therapeutic placement.  Case Manager are there to, where possible,  facilitate contact and connection with child or young person's family, extended family and community to support reunification of children with families wherever possible

As a case manager in Out of Home Care you will be working closely with children, young people and families ensuring their ongoing safety, stability and developmental needs are met within a trauma informed person - case management framework. 

To be successful in this position you will need to

  • have a relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or related behavioural sciences at degree level with substantial experience
  • resilience to work with and support clients who have been exposed to trauma, violence or neglect
  • demonstrated knowledge of child and adolescent development, abuse and trauma theories and their link to service delivery
  • ability to practice in an inclusive and strengths based way to engage and effectively work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, CALD and LGBTIQ+ families nd communities to achieve positive outcomes 

Please Note: It is mandatory for the successful applicant to hold a current Working with Children Check and be prepared to undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to commencement.
