  • Salary within the range of Level 6 SCHADS with Salary Packaging available.

The Position: 

Anglicare Victoria Eastern Region are recruiting a 2 day per week position to our SURe (Substance Use Recovery Eastern) Program. This is a split role, one which will deliver one day of centralised Intake and bridging support, as well as one day of Assessment and Counselling. This position sits within our eastern region Alcohol and other Drugs programs.

To Be Successful in this Position You Will Need:

  • Minimum Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Social Science, Counselling) and specifically a minimum of a Cert 4, Grad Dip or Post Grad Cert in AOD with Dual Diagnosis Competencies completed
  • Have counselling experience within the AOD service sector 
  • Have experience in navigating intake processes and assessing and responding to risk
  • Have a compassionate and empathic approach in working with vulnerable people and families

Please Note: It is mandatory for the successful applicant to hold a current Working with Children Check and be prepared to undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to commencement.
