The Position: 

Anglicare Victoria offers a comprehensive network of services to young people and their families/caregivers living across Victoria. We seek to ensure the provision of high quality services that will bring about significant improvements in the life experience of the young people, children and families/caregivers with whom we work.

With offices in Dandenong, Frankston, Pakenham and Rosebud, a variety of programs are provided by Anglicare Victoria across the Southern Metro Region.  These include A Better Way, Alcohol & Other Drug Services, Communities for Children and Parentzone, Family Services (includes Changing Futures, Rapid Response), Out of Home Care, Residential Care, TEACHaR.

The Regional Administration Program provides professional customer service and administration support to Anglicare Victoria Management, staff, clients, volunteers and stakeholders at all the service sites and accommodation facilities across the Southern Region.

To Be Successful in this Position You Will Need:

  • Experience working in Administration/’front line’ Reception in the Human Services field and/or tertiary qualifications. Customer service focus and the ability to interact positively with a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds including all levels of Management, staff, clients and volunteers
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills with advanced computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Highly developed time management, organisational and multitasking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment, responding flexibly to meet changing needs, priorities and deadlines. A team player who builds effective internal relationships
  • An empathy with Anglicare Victoria’s mission and values

Please Note: It is mandatory for the successful applicant to hold a current Working with Children Check and be prepared to undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to commencement.
