Who are we looking for?

We have a brand-new opportunity for a highly motivated individual to identify and influence key improvement initiatives in our Community Services portfolio, to enhance our service delivery and improve the lives of people living with a disability. Reporting to the General Manager, Community services you will work with our Legal and Safety, Quality and Risk teams to assist in preparing the organisation for the Australian Government’s Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of people with a disability. 

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Identify key improvement initiatives to enhance our service delivery and continuously improve the services we currently provide
  • Lead a small team and oversee the document retrieval process in preparation for any notices issued by the Royal Commission
  • Work closely with the General Manager to steer and manage risk mitigations in response to royal commission activities within AnglicareSA
  • Coordinate Disability Royal Commission activities across various AnglicareSA portfolios
  • Collaborate with our in-house legal team, project sponsors and operational areas to identify and support implementation of practice improvements
  • Have a meaningful and positive impact in the lives of people living with a disability

What do you need to bring?

  • Solid experience in leading practice improvement initiatives in the community services sector
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships that enable you to have an influence on service design
  • An innovative mind that enables you to identify areas of opportunity and improvement in the quality of our services
  • Understanding of what contributes to a positive customer experience
  • Ability to understand and abide by legislative and compliance requirements of service delivery
  • Tertiary qualification in either Health Sciences, Human Services or a related discipline will be highly regarded
  • A desire to improve the lives of people living with a disability
