About the role

As Service Manager, Bridges Disability Support Service, you will drive and manage the high quality of Disability Programs throughout the state. You will embed a culture that is disability inclusive across the agency and provide consultation and advice in relation to disability issues when necessary.

You will lead the development of contemporary governance and system infrastructures which form a robust foundation for Anglicare WA’s sustainability and potential growth as we transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), seeking opportunities for improvement, diversification and ensuring ongoing financial sustainability of our Disability Services.

You will oversee and ensure the flexible delivery of exceptional person centred supports that recognise and respect the choice and control of all people living with a disability.

You will ensure that exceptional systems and processes are in place to support timely service delivery, tracking, invoicing, and reporting as they are required under the NDIS.

This role can be based in the Metro, South West or Great Southern region.

You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop highly effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are a strong leader with a proven track record with demonstrated ability to inspire excellence in individuals and teams.

You will:

  • Have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as social work, psychology, business or other human services
  • Have significant experience in the development and delivery of services to people living with a disability
  • Have in depth understanding of the needs of people living with a disability
  • Have advanced knowledge of current trends and resources in the Disability Services sector, including a comprehensive knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme
  • Have strong skills in strategic planning, work planning, negotiation, change and project management including the ability to influence
  • Have proven leadership skills with demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire excellence in individuals and teams including resolution of conflict, performance assessment and complex organisational dynamics
  • Be able to develop highly effective working relationships by building credibility, respect and rapport with internal stakeholders and external networks
  • Have sound financial management skills for budget oversight
  • Have experience in supervising remotely located staff
  • Have the ability to be flexible in the role and work hours or be on call when required and travel throughout WA and Australia on occasion

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Drivers Licence and willing to use their own reliable vehicle.

This role is a max term part time (30 hours per week) contract until September 2020 with possible extension.

Benefits

  • $111 069 - $120,827 full time salary range per annum (pro rata) + 9.5% superannuation
  • Mileage Allowance
  • In addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy generous tax-free salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 per annum and not pay tax on that amount
