As Service Manager, driving change across our disability services across the Metropolitan and Southern Regions of Western Australia, this role isn’t for just anyone. It requires hard work, resilience, a creative approach and commitment to best practice in your field. Every person, every family and every community is different and we need people who are proactive and flexible to adapt to these changing environments.
In return for your drive and commitment, we provide the support of an inclusive and welcoming community which places people at the heart of all the work we do and encourages broad thinking, curiosity, creativity and best practice.
Anglicare WA is a highly regarded not for profit organisation, delivering a diverse range of community services throughout Western Australia. With over 600 staff and 200 volunteers, we are passionate about making a real and sustainable impact in the Western Australian community and to do this we need talented and engaged people who share our drive to achieve positive outcomes.
As Service Manager, Bridges Disability Support Service, you will drive and manage the high quality of Disability Programs throughout the state. You will embed a culture that is disability inclusive across the agency and provide consultation and advice in relation to disability issues when necessary.
You will lead the development of contemporary governance and system infrastructures which form a robust foundation for Anglicare WA’s sustainability and potential growth as we transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), seeking opportunities for improvement, diversification and ensuring ongoing financial sustainability of our Disability Services.
You will oversee and ensure the flexible delivery of exceptional person centred supports that recognise and respect the choice and control of all people living with a disability.
You will ensure that exceptional systems and processes are in place to support timely service delivery, tracking, invoicing, and reporting as they are required under the NDIS.
This role can be based in the Metro, South West or Great Southern region.
You are a highly skilled and talented individual who is committed to a Western Australia where all people can thrive. You are a strategic and innovative thinker, driven by a passion for social impact.
You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop highly effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You are a strong leader with a proven track record with demonstrated ability to inspire excellence in individuals and teams.
The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Drivers Licence and willing to use their own reliable vehicle.
This role is a max term part time (30 hours per week) contract until September 2020 with possible extension.
While your skills and experience tell part of your story, your values and attitude speak louder still. At Anglicare WA we are all about people, placing people at the heart of our work. We are focused on strengths, believing in and amplifying the strength of people and communities. We are fiercely inclusive, making sure everyone can belong. As trusted partners we are curious and creative, always looking for new ways to do better. We are courageous and gutsy, tackling difficult issues, even when it’s hard. Do these values resonate with you?
If the opportunity excites you to develop your career in an organisation whose values align with yours then we want to hear from you.
