About the role

As the Senior Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner you will:

  • Provide an exceptional family dispute resolution service to clients in Broome and the wider Kimberley region, holding a case load of clients
  • Provide leadership to the family law services team based in Broome
  • Provide clinical supervision to family law practitioners
  • Support your team and act as an escalation point for any complex clients or client issues
  • Grow and develop your team and the family law services delivered in the Kimberley

This opportunity is a full time (37.5 hours per week), ongoing position.

About You

To be successful you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline with minimum 5 years post qualification experience
  • Post Graduate qualification in Family Dispute Resolution
  • Demonstrated experience in providing supervision and case management
  • Knowledge and application of current theory and practice in relation to Family Law matters with individuals, families and children
  • Excellent skills in written, oral and interpersonal communication
  • Demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation relating to family law, child protection, VRO’s and family and domestic violence

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Drivers Licence and a WA Working with Children Check.
