Anglicare Retirement Villages offer independent living at its best. Our priority is to provide beautiful and comfortable villas and apartments, with the added peace of mind of 24/7 emergency call system and on-call staff. The philosophy of our Retirement Village portfolio is to operate relatively small villages with a real sense of community and resident well-being embedded in each village. We're looking for someone who will foster and support relationships with prospective residents, existing residents, staff and other stakeholders.

There'll never be a dull moment in this role! Here's an idea of what will be keeping you busy:

  • Directly oversee and manage the day to day operations of the villages, within the approved budget
  • Ensure staff are supervised, supported and rosters are established
  • Actively market vacant independent living units, develop positive relationships with prospective residents and their families, and maintain an active waiting list for each village
  • Respond promptly to emergency and other urgent matters at the villages
  • Manage resident entry and exit processes and ensure residents are supported

So, are you who we're looking for? If you are, you will have a demonstrated understanding of ageing, and the associated needs of residents - this will come from your experience in retirement village operations and/or unit sales and marketing, however, we also welcome applicants who have worked for other real-estate organisations.

We would absolutely love it if you have a diploma in either business, hospitality, marketing, or equivalent, but if not, no need to worry! All you'll need is a willingness to undertake a relevant Diploma course within six months of commencing employment, with support from Anglicare of course!
