The core mission of Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT) is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty for children, young people and families. We have a particular focus on serving vulnerable communities in the ACT and regional, rural NSW.

About the Position

Anglicare NSW South, NSW West & ACT currently operates two retirement villages in the ACT and a village in Goulburn and is working on options to expand the portfolio with additional retirement villages and seniors' housing options.

As part of a strategic focus for our Retirement Villages portfolio a new position has been created to undertake hands-on maintenance tasks and supervise grounds and maintenance staff and tradespeople undertaking work at our two ACT villages.

Anglicare is seeking a highly-motivated supervisor with exceptional supervisory, people and maintenance skills as key criteria consistent with our identity, vision, mission and values.

This position offers enormous job satisfaction and the opportunity to work within a growing and dynamic portfolio. The successful applicant must be an enthusiastic and flexible supervisor who is passionate about working with seniors and our core values.

The successful applicant is also expected to hold at least Certificate III level, or trade qualifications in a relevant field.

The salary for this position is $30 per hour, plus a 9.5% employer superannuation guarantee Additionally, generous salary packaging benefits are also available under Anglicare's PBI status.

Applicants will be required to undertake the psychometric profiling instrument - SafeSelectTM. Applicants must obtain a Working With Vulnerable People clearance through the Office of Regulatory Services (ACT) and undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to an offer of employment.
