About Anglicare

The core mission of Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT) is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty for children, young people and families. We have a particular focus on serving vulnerable communities in the ACT and regional, rural NSW.

About the Position

We currently operate two retirement villages in the ACT and a village in Goulburn. An additional six villas have recently been completed at Wollondilly Gardens and option for a more significant redevelopment are being considered as part of an expansion to our retirement and seniors housing portfolio.

The successful applicant will play a significant role in the current and future maintenance needs of the village requiring a hands-on role as well as supervising grounds, maintenance and cleaning staff and tradespeople. The successful applicant will be required to undertake occasional paid after hours on call by mutual agreement.

The base salary for this position is $33 per hour, and an additional allowance for any after-hours on-call undertaken, plus a 9.5% employer superannuation guarantee - to be negotiated with the successful applicant and dependent on experience and qualifications. Additionally, generous salary packaging benefits are also available under Anglicare's PBI status.

Applicants will be required to undertake a psychometric profiling instrument. Applicants must obtain a Working With Vulnerable People clearance through the Office of Regulatory Services (ACT) and undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to an offer of employment.
