The core mission of Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT) is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty for children, young people and families. We have a particular focus on serving vulnerable communities in the ACT and regional, rural NSW.

We are looking for an Informatics officer responsible for supporting Anglicare's key database systems and information projects. This position has a vital role in ensuring the security and stability of Anglicare databases. The officer will also play an important role in providing technical support to assist staff navigation of various databases to carry out core business functions.

Prior experience working on client management databases in a health or welfare context will be highly regarded. A degree in IT, Computer Science or related fields is not required, but would be an advantage. Knowledge of SQL Server, with experience developing and maintaining client databases is a distinct advantage. You must be organised, able to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.

The salary range for this position is $ 65,208 to $ 73,112 per annum plus 9.5% employer superannuation guarantee. Generous salary packaging benefits are available under Anglicare's PBI status. Anglicare also offers other benefits including additional personal leave and paid parental leave.

Applicants will be required to undertake the psychometric profiling instrument - SafeSelectTM. Applicants must obtain a Working With Children clearance through the Office of the Children's Guardian (NSW), Working With Vulnerable People clearance through the Office of Regulatory Services (ACT) and undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to an offer of employment.
