Advocate. Mentor. Advisor. Liaison. Case Management is a delicate balancing act - and you? You do it with aplomb.

After all, you are empathetic; that's a given. But you're also pragmatic: you have the ability to see that crucial bigger picture. You're meticulously organised and your high-level communication skills see you negotiating difficult and challenging situations with poise, clarity and respect. Your background in Case Management paired with your intimate knowledge of Child Protection legislations and complex family cases will serve you well in this role. You value friendship, compassion, humour, hard work, justice and hope. But most of all, you're driven by one mission: to create a world where all children live happily in a safe and caring environment. Everything you do feeds into that one goal.

Which is why we'll get along great

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Case Manager to join a well-respected and longstanding not-for-profit organisation, whose focus it is to empower our team with high level support to ensure we deliver positive outcomes for young people with the Permanency Support Program (Out of Home Care) service.

In joining this vibrant, high energy and passionate team, you'll be in the driver's seat, advocating for the needs of Aboriginal young people and extended families in care. You will be dedicated in providing case management principles and procedures to work in collaboration with children, young people, families and their Care Team to continually assess, plan, implement, monitor and review the planning for the child or young person.

Your background in working with Aboriginal communities as well as your experience in dealing with challenging family cases, shows as you easily communicate the child's voice and their experiences. Your true passion to make sure the child is at the forefront of everything you do, is what will set you apart from your peers.

Could you be the perfect addition to this high-performing team?

If so, you will have extensive knowledge and at least 2yrs experience in Case Management and your intimate knowledge of the effects of trauma and abuse, attachment issues and behaviour management will serve you well in this role. You will also be tertiary-qualified and comfortable in working independently to ensure we're continuously driving positive outcomes.

Why Us?

We recognise the work that we do is at times confronting and challenging, which is why we ensure our working environment is filled with fun, laughter, love and support. We prioritise self care above all else, when you join us you can expect to be apart of a large extended family. We celebrate every milestone both personally and professionally, we enjoy going out for dinners and have regular catch ups on the bachelorette!

In exchange for your hard work, though, the rewards will be great. That competitive salary will be yours, along with enviable options for salary packaging. But that's not what you're here for. At the end of the day, your greatest reward will be the knowledge that you've served on the front lines

Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Humility, Faithfulness and Trust

If these values are true to you and your passion to help create better lives for those that really need it then we would love to hear from you.
