AMSANT’s Public Health team is seeking a highly motivated person to help develop and support the capacity and responsiveness of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social and Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) and Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) workforce by coordinating initiatives and activities aimed at addressing the support, training and professional development needs. This Position will work in keeping with AMSANT’s understanding of best practice of SEWB and service provision for our communities. The successful person will have demonstrated appropriate interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, including the ability to liaise with a range of health services, management and health professionals, elders, and community members, while also maintaining sound cross cultural skills. A willingness to travel to remote communities, with qualifications and/or experience in mental health/ social and emotional wellbeing/ AOD is essential.
This is a full time role to 30th June 2021 with a generous salary package ranging from $77,787 to $87,551 depending on the successful applicant’s experience and qualifications.
