The Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory (AMSANT) is the peak body for Aboriginal community controlled health services (ACCHS) in the NT and advocates for health equity, while supporting the provision of high-quality comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal people.

About the opportunity

AMSANT’s Corporate team have recently started on the implementation of a new human resources management system and have identified three key projects that are each aimed around improving AMSANT’s HR to ensure the organisations effectiveness. This opportunity requires someone with a strong background in Human Resources, skills in project management and a strong understanding of core business structures and systems. The role requires exceptional guidance and support to AMSANT’s CEO and Senior Management Team on HR-related matters. The successful candidate will collaborate with Payroll, IT, and Corporate team members to ensure;

  • The effective implementation of strategic and project deliverables
  • A functional Human Resource position is created for sustainable long term objectives of the organisation

You’ll have:

  • Human Resources and or/Business qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years HR Generalist/ Case Management experience
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Experience in workflows and long term organisational objectives
  • It is desirable that you’ll have previous experience working with NT Aboriginal Controlled Health Organisations and/or Aboriginal communities, and a strong awareness of government digital health initiatives and private sector IT advances
