The Foundation cares for children who have experienced or witnessed violence and runs programs which prevent violence in the lives of children. We play an advocacy role and we're a voice against childhood violence.

The role:

This full-time role (12 month fixed-term contract) based in Hobart, is part of the Program Delivery team, and works with Tasmanian based schools to deliver the Foundation's eSmart programs. Some evening work will be required.

Reporting into the Manager - eSmart Programs, this is a hands-on role where you will be required to:

  • Deliver face to face and webinar workshops on cyber-safety and bullying to parents and teachers.
  • Communicate with schools to introduce the programs and provide support.
  • Support the development of effective relationships through collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate program roll out across Tasmania.

Experience required:

  • Post-secondary school diploma or tertiary qualifications in a related field eg. education or business.
  • Previous experience in delivering projects, frameworks or initiatives in the education or non-profit sectors to a high level (essential).
  • Excellent presentation skills to conduct presentations and workshops in schools outside of normal working hours (essential).
  • Knowledge of and experience in the Tasmanian education sector, preferably in schools.
  • Ability to regularly travel intra / interstate and have use of own vehicle for localised work travel purposes.
