Salary: $88,809 – $101,607 + 12.5% superannuation (pro rata if part-time)

The Australian Marine Conservation Society (AMCS) is Australia’s voice for the ocean.
For more than 60 years, we’ve led campaigns to protect reefs, marine wildlife and coastlines.
We’re seeking a passionate and strategic Fossil Fuels Campaigner to help stop offshore fossil fuel exploration and development that threatens marine ecosystems, coastal communities and our climate.
The Opportunity
Deliver outreach, organising and campaign initiatives that build public pressure and drive change.
Work with communities, Traditional Owners, allies, industry stakeholders and internal teams to grow momentum and deliver impactful campaigns.
What You’ll Be Doing
Deliver campaign outreach and mobilisation activities across Australia
Build and strengthen relationships with community groups, partners and stakeholders
Support campaign strategy development and execution
Work with communications specialists to create compelling public-facing content
Coordinate actions, events and advocacy opportunities
Represent AMCS in meetings, forums and public settings
What You’ll Bring
Experience in campaigning, organising, advocacy or alliance-building
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confidence facilitating meetings, workshops or public speaking
Experience using digital tools and online platforms for engagement
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
Understanding of climate, energy or environmental issues
Passion for ocean protection and environmental justice
