Amaze

Amaze is the peak body for autistic people and their supporters in Victoria and provides a national helpline service (Autism Connect). Amaze builds autism understanding in the community, influences policy change for autistic people and their families/supporters, and provides independent, credible information and resources to individuals, families, professionals, government and the wider community.

Amaze is committed to being an Autism Positive Employer. We encourage autistic applicants to apply for our roles. We provide support and adjustments through the recruitment process and throughout employment, and our managers have undergone specific training to support autistic employees.

The Role:

Working closely with the Executive Manager of Autism Positive Employment, you will design and deliver Diversity and Inclusion initiatives for Autism Employment for external organisations. This includes design of training and workshops, delivering autism employment training, supporting the delivery of consultancy services, championing autism positive employment practices, and collaboration across Amaze via sharing knowledge and collaboratively working on projects.

In this role you will work closely with the Executive Manager of Autism Positive Employment, an engaging leader passionate about inclusive employment practices. Through this role you will see your autonomy grow over time, as you gain confidence and knowledge. You will be empowered to make improvements to the Autism Positive Employment approaches and its processes, and your ideas and suggestions will be valued.

You will ideally have experience in Diversity and Inclusion, as well as experience developing and delivering training. You will have an open mindset, show initiative and drive. Knowledge of autism would be valuable but is not required as Amaze will build your knowledge of this area.

  • Salary $80,000 - $85,000, pro rata. Plus superannuation, includes salary packaging, and benefits
