Data Analyst

Amaze
  • Key role to analyse and interpret data and metrics to optimise Amaze’s service
  • Identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Integral role as Amaze grows their national footprint

Exciting time to join a successful NFP as a data analyst, providing insights and ensuring Amaze continues to succeed as it grows nationally.

Amaze is the peak body for autistic people and their families and carers in Victoria, with a simple but bold 25-year social impact aspiration: a society that respects the dignity of every autistic person and offers them real opportunities to participate and contribute.

We are seeking a talented professional with at least 2 years of experience with data analysis and data management to interpret, analyse and report to a variety of audiences.  One of your primary responsibilities will be to support a team of Autism Advisors who provide information, referrals and support to autistic people, their families and community stakeholders who support them.  Working closely with the Executive Manager, Information and Support Services, you will:

  • Analyse and interpret data from various sources (PureCloud Telephony, Salesforce CRM, Google Analytics) to provide trend analysis and produce reports in line with business requirements
  • Optimise and automate key reports and dashboards on performance and targets for various programs and to a variety of audiences
  • Provide data management, analysis and support across Amaze, including fundraising, communications and our Knowledge Centre

This role has critical ownership of data integrity and database management processes end to end including the development of policies and procedures for data management and regular data audits.  You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to manage data for fundraising activities, supporter relationships and the Knowledge Centre.  You will also lead internal Salesforce user groups and provide support/expert advice to project teams.

Momentum for improving the quality of life for autistic people has never been higher: 85% of Australians have personal contact with an autistic person; autism is the highest diagnostic group within the NDIS; and a 2017 Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry sparked a government commitment to a 5-year Victorian autism plan, now in development.

The ideal candidate will have sound technical knowledge and demonstrated expertise in statistical and trend analysis, including moving averages and forecasting.  You will also have highly developed skills and the ability to interpret business requirements and produce clear reports to meet those needs.

Demonstrated experience with multiple technologies, telephony, customer relationship management systems, websites/social media & databases as well the ability to effectively interpret, translate and present to a variety of audiences are highly desirable.

Amaze is committed to improving employment opportunities for autistic people. We do this through advocating to the broader community and employing autistic people at Amaze. We endeavour to provide support and adjustments through the recruitment process and throughout employment to the specific needs of autistic candidates and employees. Autistic people with the skills and experience outlined in the position description are encouraged to apply.

The position reports to the Manager, Information and Support Services and is part of a dynamic and collaborative team.

A full position description is attached.
