Position Summary:

Our Occupational Therapists are a crucial part of our Care and Support Services team, responsible for the assessment and facilitation of services for our clients to improve their quality of life through assessment, intervention and ongoing support to them and their families.

As a member of our Care and Support Services team, you will be working with people living with dementia, including younger onset dementia, as well as supporting older clients with cognitive impairments at home.

Essential Criteria:

  • BSc (Occupational Therapy) or an MSc (Occupational Therapy), or equivalent experience
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS
  • Ability to work effectively in a small multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience working with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Working rights in Australia
  • Current Police Clearance
  • A valid WA ‘C’ class driver’s licence
  • NDIS Worker Screening
  • Up-to-date COVID Vaccination

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in Occupational Therapy within community care
  • Experience working with people living with dementia in a person-centred approach
  • Knowledge and experience of working in a dementia-based environment, in a range of care settings including acute, primary, community or residential aged care

We support CHSP, HCP and NDIS funding by providing home and community support, as well as respite day and overnight in our three (3) homes based in Perth, Mandurah, and Albany.
