Partnership & Placement Manager

All Things Equal

All Things Equal is an innovative social-enterprise providing purposeful paid employment, training and work-readiness for people with disability in the hospitality industry. We provide award-wage employment to people with disability through our flourishing café in Balaclava, a local football club canteen, a cooking school, and other exciting projects. We also employ core staff without disability, to provide training, mentorship and support, and to ensure everyone is set up to thrive and succeed.

As the organisation has matured, we have implemented an Employment Pathway model; to act as a stepping stone towards mainstream employment, providing our employees with disability the skills, confidence, and independence to live a life with purpose.

We are on the hunt for a Partnerships & Placement Manager to work alongside the Senior Leadership team of All Things Equal to develop new employment partnership opportunities, nurture relationships and ensure that there is an ongoing pipeline of open job opportunities for our trainees after their time at All Things Equal.

Working 1:1 with trainees, the Partnerships & Placement Manager will provide effective hands-on coaching and mentorship to trainees as they prepare to transition out of All Things Equal and into a mainstream workplace.

Upon trainees entering a new workplace, the Partnerships & Placement Manager will be the key stakeholder between the trainee, their family, All Things Equal and the employment partner. They will keep abreast of issues and concerns as they arise, and ensure that All Things Equal is proactive in implementing strategies to create a safe, positive and long term work environment for our trainees in their mainstream workplaces.

Recognising that each trainee has unique qualities, skills and support requirements, the Partnerships & Placement Manager will tailor their support to each trainee, ensuring that the trainee is best equipped for their new role.
