This position forms part of our Support Work team that specialise in supporting people with psychosocial disability. The Support Worker position focuses on assisting participants to meet the goals within their individualised NDIS plan. The NDIS aims to provide people with choice and control over how, when and where those supports are provided. Providing outreach support to NDIS participants will be your main duty, however additional duties, should you be interested, may involve attending Alacrity Health day trips, retreats, and other fun activities.
Please note that for the outreach component of your role, you will need to use your own vehicle. Travel reimbursements for this form part of the remuneration.
Our organisation is aiming to service all areas of Melbourne, however current referral streams are coming from the Northern and Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. If you are interested in working with us but wish to work in a different area, we encourage you to apply anyway, as we are flexible on location and can work with organisations to find participants locally.
