The Family Law, Family Violence and Elder Abuse (Research) team at the Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS) are seeking a driven Senior Research Fellow to lead a professional and dedicated team in delivering commissioned research to inform policy and practice.
We are the Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS), the Australian Government’s key independent research body and advisor in the area of family wellbeing, based in Melbourne’s CBD. We produce research about ‘what works for families’ and make it accessible to decision makers, practitioners and the general public.
We in the Family Law, Family Violence and Elder Abuse research team are highly professional with in-depth experience in managing a range of qualitative and quantitative studies and evaluations in these areas. Our team members work on projects according to their subject and methodological expertise and actively engage with stakeholders to disseminate our research. We participate in professional and community activities in the family law, family violence and elder abuse space.
We will offer the Senior Research Fellow, Family Law, Family Violence and Elder Abuse position on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis of up to 18 months (with the possibility of extension to a maximum term of three years) on a full-time or part-time basis (0.8 FTE minimum). The position is at EL2 with a salary range of $116,5211 to $133,961 per annum (full-time equivalent) plus superannuation.
