A not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to equitable health and life outcomes and the cultural wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, the Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association (AIDA) is the national body representing Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander doctors and medical students.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced Policy Manager to join our team. Working with the Deputy CEO and the Executive leadership team, the Policy Manager will be responsible for leading the policy team including the development and review of Indigenous health, medical workforce and associated policies. Known for your expertise in policy writing and stakeholder management, you will have a contextual understanding and/or familiarity with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and community control sector.
Working collaboratively with many peak bodies you will also have the opportunity to represent AIDA at high level forums; with the requirement for some ad-hoc travel involved.
