Great opportunity for an HR Support Officer to join Anyinginyi, an organisation enacting real change to close the gap in Aboriginal Health outcomes.

About Us:

We are an Abo­rig­i­nal com­mu­ni­ty-con­trolled organ­i­sa­tion com­mit­ted to achiev­ing health equi­ty for Abo­rig­i­nal peo­ple in the Bark­ly region. To achieve our goal, we employ over 150 peo­ple across a diverse range of roles in each of our key sec­tions of Health Ser­vices, Pub­lic Health, Stronger Fam­i­lies and Cor­po­rate Services.

About the Role:

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will work closely with the Section Managers at Anyinginyi to deliver all facets of recruitment and HR administration support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partner with Executive Managers to support their recruitment
  • Network and build relationships with industry contacts, employees, agencies and other partners
  • Lead end to end recruitment
  • Manage onboarding and travel/relocation arrangements for new hires
  • Develop and maintain an applicant Talent Pool
  • Provide HR administration support
  • Represent Anyinginyi at employment and education events to promote awareness of the organisation

About You:

  • You are respectful of Aboriginal culture and protocols
  • 2 years' experience in Recruitment/HR Administration/Office Administration
  • Knowledge and understanding of your role in an Aboriginal community controlled environment
  • Ability to foster teamwork and collaborate with different departments
  • Demonstrated experience in database management and record keeping
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ochre Card / Working with Children Card (or ability to obtain)
