Digital Communications Specialist

Uniting AgeWell

If you are an experienced and motivated communications specialist with creative flair and passion for your work to make a real difference, this values driven role will present an exciting opportunity.

About the Role:

In this dynamic and busy role, you will use your skills to create authentic engagement of older people and their families, at important times of their lives, and help build Uniting AgeWell's brand and community awareness.

You will love telling stories in fresh new ways, have a passion for writing, and have a natural curiosity and drive to create compelling content for a range of audiences that balances authenticity with engagement for purpose. You will develop genuine connections across the organisation, enabling you to identify the wonderful stories we have to tell, and amplify their impact.

As part of a motivated, outcomes-driven team, you will be responsible for creating highly effective internal and external communications and developing engaging web, digital and social media content. Your attention to detail, excellent written, verbal and digital communications skills and proactive approach, will be key to your success in this role.

About You:

You will have relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or journalism, with at least three years’ related industry experience and a strong track record in creating and managing digital, social media and web content.

You will have a natural ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, manage workloads and think innovatively. You will need to work flexibly and remotely during COVID-19 restrictions and when these are lifted, some travel, including interstate, will be required.

For your skill, enthusiasm and commitment, you will be well rewarded with a competitive salary and benefits including salary packaging, professional learning and development opportunities and a friendly team environment.
