This role is a crucial position in the events team – working on our award winning Ration Challenge, one of Australia’s leading peer to peer fundraising events. It challenges people to eat the exact same rations as a refugee for one week, get sponsored, and raise money and awareness for communities affected by conflict and disaster around the world. Since it first started in Australia in 2014 with 100 participants, it has inspired more than 80,000 people around the world to take part and raised over $15 million.

In this role you’ll build on the great results achieved so far. You’ll help coordinate the delivery of the challenge in Australia as well as with our global partners in the UK and the USA. You’ll be supported to use your skills and creativity to develop marketing collateral, PR, media and digital campaigns, and build strategic external partnerships that will grow the Ration Challenge - inspiring thousands of people to raise millions of dollars each year for refugees around the world.

As well as the Ration Challenge, this role will be influential in developing and coordinating new peer to peer and community fundraising initiatives.

You’ll be working alongside a motivated and experienced team – and you’ll be putting your passion for global justice into action and make a difference where it’s needed most in the world.

This is a full-time permanent position based in our Sydney CBD office, however remote working opportunities will be considered. The salary will be negotiated depending upon the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
