THE OPPORTUNITY

For this part-time role we are seeking an experienced and qualified Sport and Recreation educator who is passionate about helping us to make a difference to people through our education and employment programs.

• Pro rata equivalent of full-time salary range – between $71,000 per annum and $75,500 per annum;

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

• Mandatory requirement: a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
• Relevant qualifications in Sport and Recreation.
• Relevant industry experience within Sport and Recreation or similar and the vocational sector.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver education to a high standard in workshops and through one on one student engagement;
• Highly organised and the ability to complete trainees within the required deadlines;
• Demonstrated understanding and experience of the Vocational Education and Training Sector;
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of the management of students through a student management system;
• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver accredited education programs;
• Ability to work in a team environment to deliver education outcomes;
• Demonstrated ability to develop course content through subject knowledge, design and planning; and
• Willingness to undertake some intra and inter state travel.

DESIRABLE

• Proficiency with RTO JobReady application.
• Qualifications in Business and/or similar.
• An understanding of the requirements of traineeships.
• Experience working and delivering education to trainees or apprentices.
