This role is responsible for start to finish L2 Technical and help desk support for all server and network requests/ incidents/ investigations/ diagnostics and solutions. IT Support/help desk duties include phone, email and remote access, user account deployment and security access changes, end user assistance, equipment deployment and administration. As part of this position, you will be required to communicate with external service provider.

Responsibilities include

  • Provide exceptional in-house service in level 1/2 IT support
  • Ensure the timely and accurate set up of new staff systems and accounts
  • Level 1 Server and Active Directory administration
  • Install and update required Software
  • Manage PCs, Printers, VoIP Phones, Mobile devices and other related hardware
  • Purchasing and stock control of IT supplies
  • Communicate with external service provider as required
  • Ensure staff are trained in using relevant IT software and hardware
  • Monitor Social media and webpage on behalf of the organisation
  • Adhoc duties as they arise

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum three years’ experience in similar role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to explain technical solutions and provide technical guidance to a non-technical audience
  • Hands on experience supporting L1 & L2 tickets for applications based on Office 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams
  • Troubleshoot at speed and are comfortable in meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong aptitude in OS repairs, spy ware and virus removal, hardware, upgrades and troubleshooting
  • Ability to remedy minor computer equipment malfunctions.

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualification in IT discipline (Uni/TAFE/College) desirable or relevant work experience
  • Experience working in a community legal organisation or community organisations
  • Experience working with Aboriginal people

Essential Eligibility Requirements

  • Current ‘C’ class WA Driver’s License
  • Current Federal Police Clearance
  • Working with Children’s Check
