We are seeking 2 x Community Engagement Workers (CEWs) in our Port Hedland and Geraldton offices. The Community Engagement role forms a liaison between victims of Aboriginal family violence and the services of Aboriginal Family Legal Services (AFLS). The role requires the CEW to promote our service within our regional communities by referring clients to AFLS solicitors for legal representation, undertaking community legal education and facilitating general support services.
To be eligible for interview, you must demonstrate relevant experience working within Aboriginal organisations, a passion for working within the community and a strong work ethic. You must be able to work both independently and as part of a small team, be able to travel to remote communities, co-ordinate and attend events and be comfortable presenting to large groups of people.
