About the opportunity:

Due to our continued growth, we are expanding our Allied Health Teams and we require a motivated Therapy Assistant 3 days per week, that can based in any of our state offices across Australia. Our therapists enjoy a great balance of independent work and a connected team environment where they can thrive and add value. Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • To assist the Allied Health clinicians to carry out interventions under the direct supervision of the clinicians
  • To provide administrative assistance to the Allied Health Team
  • Carry out individual interventions adhering to clinician goals, session plans and directives in relation to individual clients (both written and verbal)
  • Coordinate and run various group programs adhering to clinician goals, session plans and directives in relation to individual clients (both written and verbal)
  • Assist the clinicians with complex clients where there is the need for an additional staff member
  • Provide clinicians with feedback in relation to all individuals and groups seen, and complete detailed written progress notes after each session
  • Invoice sessions as per NDIS guidelines
  • Assisting Allied Health Team Leaders with billing and invoices

About You:

  • Experience working within a clinical billable environment, with an aim to exceed KPIs
  • Willingness to contribute to ongoing development of services and team performance
  • Ability to adhere to all directives and instructions given by Team Leader and supervising clinicians
  • Be supportive and encouraging within your wider team
  • Desire to follow a team culture that puts the customer first, is high performing and demonstrates a solution-based mindset
  • A clean, unrestricted drivers’ licence
