ROLE SUMMARY

The Industrial/Research Officer provides strategic industrial advice to Branch Executive and Principal Officers, provides advice in the planning and development of industrial strategy, and conducts negotiations with employers and other organisations.

The officer undertakes the research, presentation, and advocacy of industrial matters, and takes responsibility for ensuring relevant tribunal deadlines and procedures are observed.
