Strategic Policy Division is the leading policy division focused on strategic direction in the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources. The Trade and International Branch in the division leads the department's trade and international work including trade agreement negotiations, trade facilitation, international engagement, trade programs and anti-dumping policy.
The International and Strategic Engagement team works in an exciting, fast paced environment, focusing on international matters to identify opportunities for consultation, collaboration and information sharing across the portfolio. ISE maintains critical networks to support the department's Ministers and Executive, to strengthen the department’s strategic approach in advancing our policy and program delivery, and to maximise the positive impact on Australian job creation and economic growth. We connect agendas across government and maintain strong relationships with internal, external and international partners.
