The Chief Information Officer (CIO) Group focuses on using technology and information as a catalyst for change; driving efficiencies and integration; connecting people and data; and facilitating innovation and boosting productivity for both internal (the department) and external (businesses and other government agencies) stakeholders. 

The team and the role

Digital Engagement are the 'front door' to the CIO Group who are the department’s centralised ICT function that delivers its digital services and solutions. Digital Engagement is a part of the Digital Strategy and Cyber Security Branch in the CIO Group that sits within the Corporate and Digital Division.

The successful candidate will be able to provide good examples to show how their knowledge, skills, experience and potential makes them ideal for the job including: 

• Be comfortable in a dynamic fast-paced environment 
• Have strong interpersonal skills and experience with stakeholder engagement 
• Be adaptable and confident in coordinating a multitude of different tasks and projects simultaneously 
• Have proven ability to show initiative and problem solve 
• Have a sound understanding of ICT concepts and an ability to learn new technologies.
