Manager Quality and Compliance - Work from Home

Advocacy Tasmania

THE OPPORTUNITY

Your client, hospitalised due to a fall, has been moved to aged care for respite only to find that they’re there permanently, their rented unit given up and all possessions sold or destroyed. Your client has been kept in the dark for months while this was happening.

At the client’s direction, you discover how this has happened and who is responsible. You research what can be done and present all options to your client. They decide what you do next and so you draft the client’s complaint. You help the client with legal and mental health supports.

You work for ‘Your Say’ Advocacy Tasmania.

You provide independent, confidential information and options and give a voice to those who are ignored.

About The Role

We have established a new management role with a focus on our quality and improvement activities. You will support our team of advocates to make a real difference for Tasmanians, in a professional and impactful way. We help people with issues like the one outlined above, as well as thousands of other issues, each year.

You’ll join the Your Say team at an exciting time, as we expand and grow our services across Tasmania. We want someone who is passionate and can connect with, and inspire others, who can develop and lead internal quality management systems as we grow.

It will help if you have experience leading external accreditation processes, engagement with Government grant processes, or driving an agenda of quality improvement and change.
