Who is ACT Wildlife?
ACT Wildlife is the only rescue service for wildlife in the Australian Capital Territory. ACT Wildlife acknowledges the inherent value of the life of every native animal and the role it plays in the environment. We rescue, rehabilitate and release injured, sick and orphaned native wildlife as well as educate the public about sharing the urban interface with these animals.
We are a volunteer run charity that has reached a critical point, one where we need to grow to support the important work we do. This requires new income streams which will fund the employment of a full-time vet and better equip our venue to cater for the care of injured wildlife.
We are looking for someone who can work both collaboratively as well as autonomously, with a diverse range of stakeholders and contributors.
