The ACT Greens are now recruiting a Field Organiser for the upcoming Federal Election. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in organising, activism or political campaigning to be a driving member of our small, dedicated campaign staff.

In this role, you’ll assume responsibility for the rollout of the ACT Greens field, voter contact and volunteer mobilisation strategy.

Working closely with the Federal Election Campaign Manager, your role will include:

  • Leading the election field strategy, including doorknocking, phone-banking and volunteer recruitment
  • Training and recruiting volunteers to lead field teams
  • Coordinating field volunteer training, empowering volunteers to attend and run voter contact events
  • Managing databases for volunteer recruitment and voter contact
  • Reporting on progress towards field targets
  • Working with the Campaign Manager and Field Organiser on tasks arising.

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:

  • Work well with a diverse group of volunteers
  • Manage competing priorities
  • Meet tight deadlines
  • Have strong organisational skills
  • Display a commitment to Greens values and ideals

Experience in previous Greens elections campaigns will be looked upon favourably, but anyone with a passion for Green politics is encouraged to apply.
