Activ was founded in 1951 by a group of families who wanted more for their children who lived with disability and had become marginalised by society. About the Job

Activ Pathways is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) established by Activ in 2008 to deliver a variety of qualifications and general work skills training in industry specific areas.

Due to an increased demand for training, a fantastic opportunity exists for a qualified casual Trainer & Assessor to join our Activ Pathways team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high quality training to ensure our staff use safe techniques and provide the best service to our customers.

 Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering accredited and non-accredited programs through face-to-face training both on and off the job
• Coordinating, delivering, monitoring and reporting on participant progress, supporting learners with a varying range of abilities
• Ability to engage students whilst delivering face to face training with attention to quality service

What you’ll need

• CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (disability) - essential
• CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability- desirable
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE 40116) - essential
• Understanding of community and social issues related to disability service provision
