This is a fixed term 6 months full time position with strong potential to go permanent.

In this front-line management position within community services, you will take a hands-on approach to setting and delivering customer plans in supported accommodation and community services, develop and manage relationships with customers, families and guardians, coordinate staff rosters and schedules, manage budgets, manage staff development and promote Activ services in the community to grow market share.

Key duties include:

• Lead, coach, develop and performance manage staff to assist customers to meet independence goals
• Ensure customer service delivery to the requirements of the Disability Service Standards, Safety, Quality and Safeguarding framework
• Managing budgets, monitoring expenditure and contributing to the financial performance for your area;
• Participate in after hours on call (based on a roster system);

What we are looking for:

• Previous team leadership/supervisory experience
• Relevant disability sector experience
• Cert 4 in disability support or higher – essential
• Working with children check card – essential
• Experience with budgeting and working within a cost framework
