The Accommodation Services team in Upper South Metro supports people living with disability through accommodation and one-to-one support. We offer individualised and person-centred supports by working alongside our customers to support them to reach their full potential and make a difference to the lives of people living with disabilities. Our customers are all very individual and have varying needs. There will be an opportunity to pick up additional hours with other services within Activ Foundation.

Permanent Part-time rosters available of approx. 58 hours per fortnight Week days and weekends. Split shifts: 

  • Morning 2-3 hours,  6-8 am start                               
  • Afternoon / Evening 3-4 hours,  4-6pm start 

Key duties include:

  • Delivering a wide range of domestic supports within a customer’s residence;
  • Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals;
  • Support customers to engage in a wide range of community-based activities
  • Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
  • Administration duties and mandatory daily reports.

What you'll need?

  • Cert III in Disability, Individual Support or higher is highly desirable but not essential;
  • A drive and passion working with individuals living with disability;
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
  • Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties;
  • Proven administration and computer literacy skills;
  • A Valid WA driver’s licence and a willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with Activ’s motor vehicle allowance rebate)
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid19.
