The Community Services team in Kellerberrin supports people living with disability through community engagement. We offer individualised and person-centred supports by working alongside our customers to support them to reach their full potential and make a difference to the lives of people living with disabilities.

The difference you can make includes supporting our customers who are all very individual to engage in community activities. Set rosters are 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

Key duties include:

  • Delivering a wide range of domestic supports within the community;
  • Supporting customers to engage in community-based activities such as swimming, movies & therapy supports;
  • Supporting person-centred plans that identify a customer’s life goals;
  • Ensuring positive behaviour support plans are followed; and
  • Administration duties and mandatory daily reports.

What you need

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships;
  • Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes;
  • A Willingness to use your own private vehicle to transport customers (aligned with Activ’s motor vehicle allowance rebate);
  • Proven administration and computer literacy skills;
