About the Job

Reporting to the Business Manager, the Research Coordinator will provide research support to specific information requests by the Disability Royal Commission, by identifying and collating documents from a range of sources across the business.

Key responsibilities Include:

  • Liaise with key stakeholders from Activ Business Units to obtain records, information and data where required for the DRC project;
  • Conduct basic quantitative analysis (descriptive) using Excel and pivot tables;
  • Collating, analysing and interpreting customer and organisational information to identify trends and issues;
  • Provide support in the preparation of reports and presentations;
  • Escalation of (evidence based) information / findings to relevant stakeholders where required;
  • Contribute to the delivery of project goals and objectives that are developed and agreed with the Business Manager and project approach;
  • Use evidenced based research to inform both Royal Commission submission and recommendations for continuous improvement within Activ.

What you’ll need?

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills;
  • Good report writing skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • Internal and external stakeholder management skills;
  • The ability to work autonomously and within a broad team;
  • Experience in collation of data into predetermined formats;
  • Previous experience working within the Community Services sector (highly desirable).
