About the Job

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communications plans of a contemporary nature that deliver high impact results to support Activ’s strategic objectives.

This role will ensure prioritisation of key messages when communicating across the organisation, ensuring the consistent application of positioning, attributes, value propositions and corporate identity across all channels to market, including traditional media, social media, digital and website mediums.

Key responsibilities Include:

• Managing internal and external communications strategies, frameworks and campaigns;
• Increasing Activ’s profile across media, partners and stakeholders;
• Supporting Activ’s Executive team to develop key messages and build community profiles;
• Monitoring and reporting on media coverage and crisis communications;
• Managing media and PR relationships.

What you’ll need?

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications or related field;
• Experience in a Communication or PR role (minimum 2 years);
• Demonstrated experience with the planning and implementation of internal and external communication strategies;
• Excellent written communication skills;
• Ability to develop and build relationships across the organisation.
